Thight system to make a web app

Post by MrMezz » 2015/03/31 17:28:28

Hi guys! Currently I am working on a web app that should be hosted in a Centos 6.6 server. But, I've just been given a user account that can't modify any of the contents of /var/www/html directory. Basically, I just can make things in my home folder. I am not the system admin of this server, and due to very strict security policy it is hard for me to even ask more privileges. I know this constraints seem very wierd, but they are impossed to me. Is there a way re-direct the default /var/www/html folder to a folder inside my /home/myusername/www/html directory so I can make the changes I need to deploy the web app I am working on. Thank you all in advance!

Talk to your system admin. Only he/she can change it.
