Unable to mount xfs file system disk

Post by rbynum » 2015/05/25 17:31:41

I am attempting to mount a drive that is 1/2 of a RAID1 array in a CENTOS 6.4 system. I get the error "unable to mount, unknown file system: xfs". I have attempted to install xfs support "# yum install xfsprogs", etc and get error "package not found". Can anyone give me some advice on what to do?

xfsprogs should be available in CentOS 6. Please show the output of yum repolist.

You can also see if modprobe xfs helps. If it does not show any errors, try mounting the disk again.
