Not a question, just a small discovery that others may wish to know:
I have the HP laptop connected wireless to my network and discovered that when I transfer a file of some size, the session is useless to me until the copy completes. I can't get the mouse to move hardly at all. Yesterday I used the touchpad (which I never do) and discovered all was well. My mouse is a Logitech wireless and it now appears there's some contention between it and the wireless connection to my network! I had never even given that a thought.
Now that I know this, I can live with it - I'll just use the touchpad for the duration.

Do you transmit/receive on the same frequency band?

Heh - dunno - but that is my suspicion! The interesting piece is that the wireless mouse ALWAYS plays 'second fiddle' the the wireless file transfers, which is exactly as I'd wish had I programmed this.

I'd guess the transfer is not yielding as wireless is supposed to. Interesting. Do you happen to have a spectrum analyzer to hand?
