my network connection has been removed

Hi

I was trying to make a pppoe VPN connection and I found a Instructions and fallowed it I can't remember what I did but suddenly I realized I removed my network connection and my network icon on top of the screen I tried to turn up my erth0 and connect to the internet and download network connection I did them but there isn't any icon yet. would you please help me with that?

The point is you should install network manager which is appropriate for you in my case it would be gnom and compatible with Centos 6 which is done by this command:

yum install NetworkManager-gnome

as root but honestly, it just brought back my network connection in "system" part but not wireless icon in the top of the screen and I tested so many other things and nothing happened but when I shut down my laptop and turned on it again it was there so I don't know how it solved.
