Do you have nomodeset on your kernel command line?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Remove "nomodeset" in menu.lst and then enable "intel" driver in xorg.conf. I hope that helps.

Removed nomodeset and it started.
The screen works not in 80 x 25 but much hire res.
The computers works as server and only in textmode access.
