How well are Centos 6 packages optimized?

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask,

What optimization flags (CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS) are CentOS 6 packages compiled by default for amd64 and i686?

Is -march= used?

Is -mtune= used?

Do the binaries take advantage of the instruction set of newer CPUs?
