I am trying to build CentOS 6 from scratch for my own appliance project.
Can anyone please provide me a procedure for getting the source code including kernel and kind of a minimal set of packages?
Thanks!

Re: Build from scratch
All CentOS 6 source packages are on vault.centos.org
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

You might want to look at some of the meta-distribution projects or something more tailored to an appliance.
Re: Build from scratch
And building an entire distro that has gone into critical-security-updates-only mode seems unwise.
