Can anyone provide any assistance with this as I am trying to update to apply the Melton and Spectra patches.
I have tried the command below with no response:-
# curl --ipv4 'http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=6 ... epo=os&inf'
[user@systemname]#

What is the content of /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Try the same curl command with -v
I would guess a proxy or a (non-CentOS) firewall is involved.
