Font problem gnome system monitor

Hi,
i've installed gnome-system-monitor.
When i start the tool i have no text on the gui. The only thing i see is the gui with squares (see attachment)

what is the problem there?

It'll be a missing font though I have no idea what. Try installing xorg-x11-fonts-misc.noarch as a first stab at it. Perhaps starting it from a terminal window might spit out some messages to give you a clue too.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
