An assignment to do with CentOS

Post by johnwich19 » 2019/08/19 04:16:39

Hi,
I just began learn CentOS yesterday. Actually, I have an assignment to do with CentOS: verify the signature in md5sum.txt.asc using PGP/GPG, explain any warnings that may occur during the verification process (the signature should verify)

I have been struggling with this for one day...
Thanks

I'm sorry but we have a policy of not answering homework questions. However, if you run man gpg there is an example of how to do it in the EXAMPLES section of the man page.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
