Hi team,
I looked for this answer but couldnt find.
I know tht the centos 6 will EOL in November 20th.
I would like to know if this means that all repositories/mirrors for centos 6 will also goes offline too.
today we only have online mirrors for centos 6.10, the latest minor version.
After November 20th will I have to install packages or whatever necessary manually ?

Re: centos 6.10 repositories and mirrors availability
After November 30th what remains of CentOS 6 will migrate to vault.centos.org where old versions go to die. It will be removed from the mirrors though it might not happen on the 1st December. However, that's it. There will be no more updates to CentOS 6 at all so you will receive no more updates and can only install only packages that are fixed at a point in in time, possibly with known security problems.
The solution is to migrate to a newer version. CentSO 7 has until 2024, 8 until 2029. You still have about 5 months left but the task of moving will be significantly easier if you start now and set up a new machine and move your usage to it bit by bit.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
