Zipped Package
I downloaded a zipped package of CentOS from Softpedia, and I'm unsure on how to install.

Zipped Package
Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.
It would help if you provided a link, or a listing of the contents of the zip, but off the top of the head I would guess it is likely to be some sort of virtual appliance. A google on Softpedia CentOS zip gets more than 39K hits. Smart questions will get better answers.
If you want to install CentOS then download the ISOs from an official mirror and burn then, or install from the ISO images if in a virtual machine environment.
