Yesterday I ran yum update to on a Centos 6.6 virtual machine running under Windows 2012 Server.
The update tried to install kernel 2.6.32-504.16.2.el6.x86_64 but stopped with the following message part way through:
"Erasing kmod-microsoft-hyper-v-rhe163.3.4-1.20120727.x86_64
Create and install intitramfs without Hyper-V drivers
Linux Integration Services for Hyper-V has been removed. Please reboot your system"
I rebstarted the virtual machine but it failed to boot. I was able to boot from the previous kernel: 2.6.32-504.12.2.el6.x86_64
I have now removed the 16.2 kernel but don't have any idea as to how to proceed from this point.
Any suggestions?
