Hello,
I'm running VSFTPD and am having some issues with chrooting. It seems that I need to add the option “allow_writeable_chroot=YES” in order to fix my issue. With the latest CentOS 6.6 and vsftpd 2.2.2-13.el6_6.1, it will not allow that option. I'm reading that the VSFTPD 3 on CentOS 7 does allow that option.
Does anyone know of a VSFTPD 3 RPM that will work in CentOS 6?

Re: VSFTPD 3 for CentOS 6
It should be possible to get vsftpd 2.2 to allow writing to a chroot in el6. Perhaps post your config and the setup you have.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
