I have never tried to install Oracle DB on linux sistems. I am using centos 6 x64 and trying to install oracle 11gR2 x64.
I have been following guides from several pages but at the point where I need to run the Installer (./runInstaller) it says "cannot execute binary file", so wtf!! how I can solve this??
I am lost here, I have not found a soultion yet.
Any suggestions will be accepted.

A google on the error shows that many people with that problem are trying to install an Oracle version for another OS or architecture.
Re: I have a problem installing Oracle DB
