Hi,
Seems a long time after this one was solved, but i had the same issue today and nothing worked. Weird part was that all rpms were downloaded normaly except kernel that gave me the same error as reported here, so I did: /etc/init.d/iptables stop . All updates were then downloaded fine and installed. Started iptables after and all ok.
