I just got a neat little ECS Liva. Unfortunately, it's UEFI boot only.
My preferred method of installation is to PXE boot into a VNC installation. But this little guy won't recognize my PXE setup at all. Looking at:
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/UEFI
It looks like CentOS 6 won't do a network UEFI install anyway. Two questions.
1. Should I create an install key and install that way?
2. Can someone point me to some clear instructions on configuring up my DHCP/TFTP setup for UEFI PXE booting? I can't seem to find any.
Many thanks.
UEFI PXE Booting
Re: UEFI PXE Booting
Thank you toracat, that was the page I needed. A bit of futzing though in that EFI booting uses GRUB instead of the normal PXE setup. That page wanted me to put the efidefault file in a sub-directory while it worked for me in the root tftpboot directory.
Now I've got to get the installer to recognize the built-in storage. But that's a separate thread over in the hardware forum.
Thanks again.
