I have a spacewalk lab up and running and would like to have puppet installed, because spacewalk doesn't suit all my needs.
Can i use epel or is it better to use the puppetlabs yum repo, which has more up 2 date packages and dashboard rpm available?
Can i use postgresql for dashboard?
Thanks in advance.

puppet + dashboard
No idea, but RPMforge has later versions than EPEL, but not as new as puppetlabs, so perhaps throw them into your comparison. Your dashboard question seems best directed at puppetlabs community.
Re: puppet + dashboard
I'd recommend Foreman over the puppet-dashboard.
The setup is a bit more combersome, but more powerful. I'd use puppetlabs, foreman and rpmforge repos.
That's my current setup.
