GD library

Post by isabellegm » 2017/04/01 22:07:01

Hi,
After an apache update, the GD library doens't work anymore.
With the command php5 -m I see gd is installed
But imagick and all functions like imagejpeg, imagecopyresampled etc are not working anymore.

I tried to install by using yum install and it says error:nothing to do.

I don't know what to do anymore.

Any help?

Thanks!

CentOS 6 doesn't supply a php5 command so what you are running is not provided by us. Do you have some form of control panel installed, like Plesk, cpanel, directadmin? If so then you need to ask the supplier of that panel as they often install their own proprietary LAMP stack and things we might suggest that would be applicable to an unmodified CentOS system might break yours even more.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

I'm on CENTOS 6.8 x86_64 standard – serveur
I can see in easy Apache 3, that GD is installed.
What can I do more to make it works again? I tried to recompile with no result.
Thank you!

This "Easy Apache 3" is not part of CentOS. I believe it comes from a panel called cpanel so you need to ask their support people about this. They have changed your system in ways that make it unsupportable here.
