Hi, I have two Windows DC and both host as Time Server for clients to sync to... For some reason my CentOS 6.4 (Final) not able to sync, and I have checked all setting are correct (unless i over sight)... I have ran ntpq -p and -q server_IP all came back with results, but when i execute date it is 3 minutes off from DC... I can stop the service and ran ntpq -q command to sync then start the service again it'll sync, but this doesn't help fixing the problem and which I can't find... Can someone help??? Any ideas!!! Thx,

Please don't run CentOS 6.4. It's ancient and buggy and riddled with security vulnerabilities. The current CentOS 6 is 6,9 and is just a yum update away. Your system is more than 4 years out of date and there have been numerous high severity remotely exploitable security problems discovered and fixed in that time.

Ok, understood... Currently it will be difficult to get it change since we have other application running... Do you know if there is a fix for NTP issue if there is any, or is there a configuration I should check against??? Thx,

So what does ntpq -pn output? If you have recently restarted ntpd, please wait at least 10 minutes before issuing that ntpq command to allow ntpd to synchronize properly first. What do you have in /etc/ntp.conf and /etc/sysconfig/ntpd ?
