Hi,
I have been searching for weeks and tried a number of config changes to get this work. I do not host an email server and I use my ISP DNS server. I have a fixed IP address. I do understand gmail drops emails from hosts that are not trusted and have asked my ISP to setup reverse DNS to clbls2.com.au.
I would like to send an email from the command line as follows...mail henryX@gmail.com...This email ques and then disappears, does not get to my Gmail account. I have attached a copy of the maillog and main.cfg. (main.txt)
I have update my Centos 6 with the latest updates.
Appreciate any help in getting this working
regards
Henry

Re: Sending email from postfix to gmail
Few things I've noticed
domain does not have MX record
Host does not answer on any mail ports
You could try sending mail via telnet
I know is old fashioned, but will provide some diagnostic information.

It's probably going into the SPAM folder.
