Firefox and graphic card

Post by lovelace85 » 2017/10/19 14:06:37

Hi,
recently I'm having some problems using Firefox.

When I use the graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti) to run some calculations, firefox crashes or goes very slow. I have always used firefox and the graphic card at the same time, but I am having this problem since the last updates. I'm using Centos 6.9 with Firefox 52.4.0.

Moreover I have this error:
Process /usr/lib64/firefox/plugin-container was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
cmdline: /usr/lib64/firefox/plugin-container /usr/lib64/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so -greomni /usr/lib64/firefox/omni.ja -appomni /usr/lib64/firefox/browser/omni.ja -appdir /usr/lib64/firefox/browser 4879 plugin

Should I downgrade my firefox? If yes, which version do you suggest me?

Thank you for the answer.
I removed flashplayer but firefox is still very slow, like in changing tab or open a new tab
