Yes. You have glibc-2.12-1.209.el6_9.2.x86_64 and glibc-2.12-1.209.el6.x86_64 currently listed and the el6+9.2 version is the newer one so that's the one to remove.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

I've just removed all the duplicate packages.
Should I run yum update? Normally I'm updating my PBX with an install/upgrade script.

The CentOS supported way to update is using yum update. I'm not about to download and read a shell script from some random website to check how it does it so your best bet is to ask them if you're unsure.
