shared libraries problem
nux desktop gives me error. Please check screenshot. http://prntscr.com/hh5lsd
Re: shared libraries problem
You cannot use nux-dextop at the same time as rpmforge and no-one should use rpmforge any more as it has had no maintenance for about 4 years so lots of its packages are insecure. You'll need to remove the packages from rpmforge first and then install the nux-dextop versions instead.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: shared libraries problem
There is no repo as you said. http://prntscr.com/hh5tr5
Re: shared libraries problem
Whether there is a repo configured now or not is not your immediate problem.
You have installed packages (*.el6.rf.* ) that conflict. Those you have to get rid of / replace.
Btw, "el6"? In CentOS 7? You really want to get rid of those.
PS. Why bitmap screenshots? Text from console can be copied into forum post.

Re: shared libraries problem
mine is CentOS release 6.9 (Final)
Re: shared libraries problem
Don't hijack old threads then. Split the topic and moved to the correct CentOS 6 forum.
nux-dextop exists for CentOS 6 too. And rpmforge is just as dead if not deader on CentOS 6 as it is on 7. Do not use it.
Running rpm -qa | grep "\.rf" should show you all the problem packages you have installed from rpmforge including rpmforge-extras which have .rfx in their names. Make a list of them, uninstall them and search for replacements from repos that still offer support.

+++ I have checked by given command and found some files. Can you please tell me how can I remove them?
Sorry for posting in wrong forum.
