timdedatectl - command not found

Post by grumpy_cat » 2018/04/14 21:35:49

Hi everyone,

My CentOS 6 server does not have timdedatectl command.

As example when I run:
timedatectl status
-bash: timedatectl: command not found

How can I solve this?

Thank you for replies

I suspect you may be using CentOS 7 documentation on a CentOS 6 system. Things like timedatectl are all in CentOS 7 as part of systemd. CentOS 6 does not use systemd.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
