CentOS 6.3 HP Proliant ML350p G8 Display Issue

Post by irfanzac » 2015/08/30 07:40:37

Hi,

I recently installed CentOS 6.3 in HP Proliant ML350p G8 Server, but i face issue with display drivers. The display is split into two, also while installation it give me "unsupported hardware detected", still i continue to install the CentOS, after installation still the display is not good.

i guess i need to install CentOS Display drivers for this server.

Anybody can help me to find the display drivers for this server. Thanks,

Regards,
Irfan

Don't use 6.3 - it's more than 2 years old, possibly 3, and has no support for newer hardware, has unfixed security problems and is just generally in the "do not do this" category. Use 6.7, it is the current and only supported el6 release.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
