Getting HDMI display to work

Post by svenyo85 » 2019/09/22 08:40:18

Hello,
I need some help to get my HDMI display to work properly. I'm using CentOS 6.10 and I have two displays connected to my computer. The first display via DVI, the second one is my TV, connected via HDMI. Currently, I only get a sreen on the HDMI display, when the DVI display is disconnected. In the screen settings, only one "unknown display" is listed, even after clicking on "detect displays".
Furthermore, I got no sound on my HDMI display, even the HDMI output is selected in the sound settings. In the hardware list, two devices are shown ("HD audio generic analog stereo duplex" and "HD audio generic digital stereo HDMI output").
Can someone tell me, what I need to configure/install? is there a driver missing? Unfortunately, I didn't found a suitable driver one the manufactor website. My Mainboard is a Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H V2 with onboard graphic and sound.

lspci output regarding audio and video:
0a:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Raven Ridge [Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series] (rev cb)
0a:00.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Device 15de
0a:00.6 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] Device 15e3

xrandr output:
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 1920 x 1080
default connected 1920x1080+0+0 0mm x 0mm
1920x1080 0.00*
1280x1024 0.00
1280x960 0.00
1024x768 0.00
800x600 0.00
640x480 0.00

Thanks in advance for help!
Sven :-)
