Does CentOS 6.8 support intel v4 processors specifically E5-2630v4? Thanks.

Intel E5-2630v4
Re: Intel E5-2630v4
I don't run any in particular but they are socket and plug compatible with the earlier v3 processors and I know those work. There are also changelog entries in the kernel rpm package that show support being added - e.g.
Code: Select all
- [perf] x86/intel/uncore: Add Broadwell-EP uncore support (Jiri Olsa) [1242694 1249700 1283155]
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
