Post by pilock » 2017/09/26 09:43:40

Hi,
I'm new user on Scientific Linux 6.0(RHEL based) and CentOS Forum. I installed system on the machine a few weeks ago. However, I applied results of most of discussions on forums but these didn't solve my problem.

How can I solve this problem?

I am putting about output of commands here.

Start by installing something that isn't 7 years old. 6.0 came out in 2010 and is completely unsupported. If you must use CentOS 6 then use 6.9 which is the most recent version. You can probably yum update froppm 6.0 to 6.9 but it might be easier just to reinstall.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
