How to install Asus N13 wireless nic

I have an Asus wireless adapter and need help installing. it came with drivers. I'm new to Linux so I need help with step 1.

Welcome to the [i]CentOS[/i] fora.

The recommended reading for all new members starts with the [url=https://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewforum.php?forum=54]FAQ & Readme First[/url].

For your current issue, I would recommend that you --

(1) Provide the output returned by executing [b]./getinfo.sh driver[/b], as detailed in [url=https://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=28723&forum=54]How To Provide Information About Your System[/url]. Note that without any Internet connectivity, you will need to make use of the classic [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sneakernet]sneakernet[/url].

(2) Examine the [i]CentOS[/i] wiki, in particular the [url=http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Laptops/Wireless]wireless networking[/url] page.

(3) Become familiar with the [url=http://elrepo.org]ELRepo Project[/url] and the concept of kernel independent, kABI tracking kmod packages. The [url=http://elrepo.org/tiki/FAQ]FAQ[/url].

I don't think this is hijacking because I have the same card and I'm in pretty much the same position as the OP. So, here's the output per your request. I'm somewhat concerned about the absence of lsusb on my system.

I hope you'll forgive my ignorance here, but I spend a lot of time troubleshooting and I like to confirm the need for a fix before I apply it.

That said, it seems to me that everyone is suggesting that the driver is probably the problem, so how can I confirm that the driver is the issue here. What signs do I look for to know that I need a driver for my wireless NIC?

Again, sorry for the dumb question.

EDIT: Turns out the El Repo FAQ had the answer:

And, my system did not have the correct driver. But after learning how to import keys and install packages from a flash drive, it now does. :)

But the thing still is not configured. So what do I do next?

It would have been nice if you posted the Vendor & Device numbers. I figure, from your output, that they are 1814:0781. So, turn to the [url=http://elrepo.org/tiki/DeviceIDs]ELRepo deviceID[/url] page and locate the kmod package that supports your device.
