While I was searching, I found this post viewtopic.php?f=14&t=44625
In there, rraehal downgraded the nic in Hyper-V to be a legacy one, basically Intel e1000
So I've done the same and have an IPv4 address again
And can reach the network....
So that could be a workaround Vahraba?
I'm going with it as a workaround, Not sure if there is packet loss though as in that post...
However, at least I have the server up now... anything else I'll have to fix on the fly
Thanks for the help gerald_clark/poky

Re: Network problem after upgrading from CentOS6.4 to CentOS
I have been in the same boat with my kvm virtual guests. I found that by restarting libvirtd, my kvm virtual guests are able to ping outside the gateway. This issue also occurs when I fiddle with my hosts firewall, which of course, restarting libvirtd fixes it.
One thing I have yet to fix is being able to ping my host without getting "Destination Host Unreachable".

Re: Network problem after upgrading from CentOS6.4 to CentOS
I had same problem. Hypervisor broke after changing my /etc/hosts hostname. Changing it back to how it was when I installed virtual hosts fixed it and I am now able to connect again. I would like to know how to change my hostname without breaking all of my virtual hosts.
