Re: how to install BCM43142 driver on Centos6.7 without inte
kernel 2.6.32-523.el6, is this a typo?
If you have a CentOS 6.7 kernel, your device [14e4:4365] is supported by the bcma driver. Does 'lsmod' show this module?

Confirming, for toracat, that the Vendor:Device ID pairing does indeed point to the bcma module in the distribution kernel and "future" kernels --
abdossamad2003 -- Please try the following:
Code: Select all
[Duo2 ~]$ grep -i 14e4 /lib/modules/*/modules.alias | grep -i 4365

Thanks, Gerald. For some reason I completely missed its presence.gerald_clark wrote:It is already loaded.

Re: how to install BCM43142 driver on Centos6.7 without inte
Please run ifconfig -a and post the output
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
