Hi,
I have little issue here, I've just installed Cent Os 6 in my Virtualbox 4.0.12 and my networking doest work if I have NAT mode in VirtualBox enabled. This quite interesting problem is in DNS. The IP adressess are configured by DHCP and as I see, they are configured properly on the first sight.
I can ping my DNS servers, I can paradoxly ping "www.google.com", but if I type "wget www.google.com" there is an error "unable to resolve host adress ......"
This is no specific Cent OS 6 problem, same situation is in Fedora 15, but f.e. in Ubuntu it works without problem.
If I change Brigded mode in Virtualbox, everything is fine.
So, have somebody similar problem? And how to solve this?
Thanks ...

Networking doesnt work Cent Os 6 - VirtualBox Host - NAT
Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.
What is the host OS? I am replying from a VirtualBox 4.0.12 SL6 instance using NAT on a Mac OS-X Snow Leopard host, and also use VB on a CentOS-5.6 host NATted with no problems. It does require a bit of special attention via nm-applet to get the DNS working properly due to the DHCP service here not passing everything correctly, but I believe this is an artifact of my higher-level network environment over which I do not have control. No such issues at home on a SL6 host. Please provide more information about your system by running "./getinfo.sh network" in the NAT configuration and showing us the output file.

Nothing immediately obvious to me from the script output. I neglected to ask - is the host on a NAT network? If so, you may need to use Bridged networking to avoid dual NAT issues.
