I am using SecureCRT tool to connect to a CentOS 6 system and am getting the following failure in /var/log/secure.
Apr 1 20:49:27 svr3236-vm1-sip sshd[2168]: fatal: DH_GEX_REQUEST, bad parameters: 1024 !< 2048 !< 2046
I have searched through google with no luck other than what appears to be a bug fix in openssh in a prior release.
I have also posted to SecureCRT hoping for something from them.
Failure to connect over ssh

openssh-server-5.3p1-94.el6.x86_64
Re: Failure to connect over ssh
OK, so at least sshd is up to date.
http://www.vandyke.com/download/securec ... istory.txt may be useful. Hopefully your SecureCRT is at least version 6.2.2. The workaround presented in https://forums.vandyke.com/showthread.php?t=5508 may also work.

Re: Failure to connect over ssh
Thanks the second link helped me resolve the issue. Can't get the company to pay for the upgrade, so the workaround was a life saver.
