what is the known issue security in CentOS 6.8

Hello guys, I am doing a report about security, just want to ask, is there any known issue about security of CentOS 6.8 ? I did a Google search but got nothing. Thanks in advance :D

Well the main known issue with it is that it's not the current version. CentOS 6.9 was released on 5th April 2017 (based on RHEL 6.9 from 21st March) so you are at least 6 months behind on updates and since 6.8 is from May 2016, possibly as much as 17 months.

You can look at the Redhat Errata page for RHEL 6 and see what things have been fixed and when https://access.redhat.com/errata/#/?q=& ... _version=6
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
