CentOS

Working with a user who has a CentOS 6.8 appliance, his security scanner flagged the appliance for CVE-2000-0666. Red Hat CVE page states this was addressed in Red Hat 6.2. Would I be correct in interpreting this as this was incorporated in Red Hat 6.8 and CentOS is built from the package source for RHEL 6.8 there fore the fix is in CentOS 6.8?

This CVE is from year 2000, and Red Hat Linux is not the same as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
