Connecting Ms Sql server 2000 from Squirrel Sql from Centos
Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.
Not much to go on.
Squirrel SQL is not part of CentOS. What version are you using, and how did you install it? Can you access the server by any other means? Seems like it may be a firewall or permission issue on the Windows side.

Can you access the Windows 2000 SQL server via the Microsoft client from Windows?
