Dears,

i have a weird problem,
my Linux machine booting from SAN and it was working well without any problems.
2 days ago we bought a new IBM SAN Storage (V7000) and new 2 SAN Switches.
after configuring the new V7000 and SAN Switches all other machines booting from SAN (windows and AIX Unix) booting well without any problems
but Linux machine can't boot it said kernel panic.

when i go to rescue mode the following error appeared:
"Multiple devices on your system are labelled SWAP-mpath02. Labels across devices must be unique for your system to function properly.
please fix this problem and restart the installation process."

how i can fix this problem i searched over internet for whole day without any progress.

can anyone here help me in this problem please

Thanks and best regards.

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.

My guess, and that is all that is possible without more hard data, is that you "cloned" the old storage to the new and created duplicate label[s] in the process. You need to change the label[s] on one of the sets of storage, or disconnect the old storage.
