Error with ODBC connection using isql

Post by mikeyt » 2012/03/22 13:36:54

Hi,

I'm trying to install a Plesk 10.4.4 update on a CentOs 5 server. I'm getting an error message and I think it's a CentOs issue. The error message given is:

Trying to set up APS controller database... Attempting to check APS db connection via ODBC, using /usr/bin/isql (empty output is good)
/usr/bin/isql: relocation error: /usr/lib64/libmyodbc3.so: symbol strmov, version libmysqlclient_15 not defined in file libmysqlclient.so.15 with link time reference
Failed, rc = 127.
Failed to establish test connection. Cleaning up.

I can't find much online for that error message. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The mysql database is up and running and can connect via the command line without any issues.

Thanks.

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.

You are ostensibly paying for Plesk support and should use it. We can't support Plesk as they make so many changes that advice from here may result in breaking your system.

It appears you have inconsistent MySQL packages.
