Greetings,
Guys be nice to me. I am new to linux and very interested in learning it. My question is, how do i create a bootable disc from the different iso's? for example, i want to start learning Centos using version 5.1( i think it has a very comprehensive documentation). It is made of 7 iso files. How do i create a bootable disc from the 7 iso files?
Regards

Re: How to Create a Bootable Disk
If you want a single bootable disk then don't download the 7 CD images, download the first DVD image and burn that instead.
Also, don't use 5.1, use the latest which is currently 5.10. There are about 5 years worth of fixes in 5.10 over 5.1 and many of those are security related and others provide enhancements. The documentation is the same for both versions. However, if you're just starting out, it's probably much better just to skip 5 altogether and grab 6.5 which is the latest CentOS 6 version. The documentation for this can be obtained from docs.redhat.com as it's 99% the same as RHEL 6.5.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
