Default Login Name?

Post by skyler440 » 2014/04/11 23:20:41

I just installed CentOS Five on my computer, and entered a password with the instal. I Rebooted and it asked me for a username. I did not ever make a username though! Is there something I am doing wrong or is there a default Login Name?

The password you enter during the install is for the only user the installer creates: root.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
