Trouble about installing Centos via USB boot.

Post by kdminhquan » 2015/01/14 08:53:15

Dear all ,
today , i install Centos 5 with usb boot. i already created usb boot by ISO2USB in window 7.
Then i choose to boot from usb firstly when starting my laptop.
After choosing language , type of keyboard , the OS said that i have to choose the partion which include OS iso file.
as ISO2USB guide , i have to choose /dev/sdb1 (usb) to get iso file for installation.
But when installing , the OS only show me /dev/sda1 , i can not see /dev/sdb1 to choose.
what happen ? and what i should do.
Please give me a advice soon
hope to hear from you.

in this laptop , i installed successfully with netinstall.
i tried to format hard disk of this laptop but the issue occur.
so i confuse about sdb1 are usb or hard disk ?
when i create usb boot i choose hard disk is sda and usb is sdb and choose laptop boot firstly from usb.
whether laptop start and set usb is sda1 :( :(
