I have cantos 5 server which is working form last 4 or 5 years with no issues. all opf the sudden i had some db issues and i tried tried to restart the machine. it was nto restarting and i kind of did a force reboot. As soon as i did that now i the linux is not even rebooting and giving me "non-system disk or disk error".
can someone help please? did i lost a boot record may be? i am not that expert of the LINUX and this is a production server. I have spend lot of time on google but did not find any help!

Sounds like a drive failure.
Boot the DVD in rescue mode, and examine the drive.

they are raided and its hard to believe that both drives have failed at the same time. may be a boot record or something?

Then boot the DVD and check the RAID.
We can't possibly troubleshoot this using no information.
What kind of RAID?
Did you check your drives with smartctl?
If this is hardware RAID, use your controllers diagnostics.
If this is software RAID, it may have been broken for some time before a hardware failure,
or GRUB may have been improperly installed.
You need to do some troubleshooting.
