Centos is not listing ubuntu 14.04 LTS server in its grub

Hi all,

I installed ubuntu 14.04 LTS server on CentOS 5 machine, after installing Ubuntu machine restarted but the centos grub boot menu is not listing Ubuntu, please help.
I am a new bee to this. please help with basic steps. :|

Why should it? They don't even use the same bootloader.
CentOS 5 uses GRUB Legacy and Ubuntu uses Grub 2.

You should pick one bootloader to install into the MBR so that it appears when you boot. The other one should then be installed in the PBR and an entry added to the main one to chainload to the second.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
