centos 5.3 booting problem

At the time of booting centos 5.3 getting,
INIT: id "X" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
please give the sollution...

I have moved your post to a better forum.

That sounds like your GUI session is having trouble starting. Try rebooting, interrupt the boot process by hitting Esc when you see the "Starting CentOS .... in X seconds" message and edit the kernel command line (hit 'e' then scroll to the kernel line and hit 'e' again) and append a space followed by the digit 3 to the end of the line, press enter then hit 'b' to boot. That should bring you up in command line mode and you can look at the logs and see if y ou can find out what the problem is.

You need to update that box. 5.3 was released in about 2009 so you are missing the last 6 years of security updates! The current CentOS 5 version is 5.11 and should be as easy as running yum update
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
