XEN VM with LVM preexisting partitions

Post by bvdb » 2007/05/17 16:07:10

Hi all,

Does anyone success with creating and or booting a VM with preexisting lvm partitions ?

I tried with rpmstrap method, installing the / on /dev/vg01/vm1root and swap on /dev/vg01/vm1swap.

The kernel panics when trying to mount /root fs.

I suppose the vm does not see the lvm partitions on the host, trying all methods I found.

Help will be great
Regards,,
