Dear sir,

I am unable to install VLC media player in my Cent os 5 linux machine. please help me .

In what way you trying to install.

Are you getting any errors?.

VLC media player is available in the RPMForge repository. Configure the RPMForge repository as described here:

http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories/RPMForge

and then:

[code]yum install vlc[/code]

will take care of the rest for you.
