Hello there

we have a remote server with CentOS 5.4, there is no internet connection but only a vpn link to reach it.
We are developing a java application on it and we would use vnc and firefox to test it.
We have only the original CentOS dvd content available.
How can we get java plugin without downloading anything?
thnx

You seem to have an over-constrained problem. There is no java plugin on the 5.4 media. Your best bet would be to follow the JRE page, uploading the packages over the VPN link; however, I have no idea if that will work on that obsolete/insecure/unsupported release.
