evolution data server

Post by burak » 2014/03/20 09:43:05

Hi,

We are running Centos 5.5 64-bit version.

We are using Thunderbird email clients on multiple windows xp pc in a small business.
In order to sync all email address books , I am thinking on installing evolution data server and using the evolution add-on for thunderbird to centralize the address books.
However, I could not find instruction on installing evolution data server for Centos.

Would anyone show a way? As far as I understand Evolution data server is open-source and free , so there must be a package to install.
I see evolution is installed in my Centos setup but it is the email client not the server.

Also I am open to suggestions using alternative and stable offline methods to centralize the thunderbird address books.

Regards,
Burak
