Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me how to fix my issue below.
dpkg-query: failed to open package info file `/var/lib/dpkg/status' for reading: No such file or directory

It would be tricky since CentOS doesn't use dpkg or apt-*, it uses yum and rpm.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
